  What’s remarkable is that it overcomes the current limitations of insecticidal lamps, which are typically sensitive to weather changes, humidity, and wind speed—meaning that if it’s very windy in the orchard, the lamp will automatically shut off. Similarly, when humidity levels are extremely high, it will also deactivate itself.
  Moreover, it also uses energy-efficient ultraviolet lamps. These UV lights attract pests and harmful insects. Once the UV light is turned on at night, it effectively lures and traps them.
